Exploring the Beauty of Deharadun with Loved Ones
My work demands travel from one place to another for attending business meetings. I am used to these types of travel and meetings. This time, my family members wanted to join me for this trip. I arranged all my meetings in Dehradun in such a way that, I could handle them easily in one day. I kept myself free from work for more two days so as to spend some quality time with my loved ones.
After arranging the meetings, I applied for the vacations which got approved in no-time. Then, I searched for train tickets from Faizabad to Dehradun. After booking the train tickets, I immediately searched for hotel booking. One of my colleagues had recently visited the beautiful Dehradun city and suggested me to book Magnet House. It is a 2-star hotel which offers ace-class accommodation and facilities.

I had booked our tickets in the First Class AC compartment of the Doon Exp. We boarded our train as per our plan from Faizabad railway station at 2:22 pm. The train left the station in 5 minutes. We settled ourselves in the comfy seats of the train. We had a comfortable train journey from Faizabad to Dehradun and we reached our final destination at around 7:25 am next morning. We hired a public transportation to reach to our hotel in Dehradun.
Sight-Seeing In Dehradun:
After successfully winding-up the work in one day, we decided to explore the beautiful Rajaji national park and tapekshwar temple in next two days.
Rajaji National Park:

It is a tiger reserve located in the foot hills of Himalaya ranges in the Shivaliks. This national park is spread across three districts. The Rajaji national park is composed of three wildlife sanctuaries- Motichur, Chilla, and Rajaji sanctuaries. The dense green forest of this national park is home to many species of birds and animals. It is most famous for its tigers and elephants. We were lucky to spot one tiger and few elephants along with other birds and animals.
Tapekshwar Temple:
Next we visited this beautiful and ancient temple. This cave temple is one of the busiest pilgrimage sites in the city. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is famous because it features water dropping from the cave ceiling over the Lord Shiva’s-Shiva linga. Also, the location of this beautiful temple attracts many visitors. It is situated between two lush green hills which offer panoramic surroundings. Devotees enjoy bathing in the sulfur water springs here.
This was one of the most memorable trips in my life with my loved ones.
